Hossam Rageh

Mr. Hossam is a visionary leader with over 37 years of experience in managing different teams to achieve operational optimization across diverse business lines in both national and regional operations. He is recognized for talent in strategy development and corporate vision and has a diversified background in Corporate, Investment Banking , Asset Management and Trade Finance.

He was appointed Managing Director at Alliance Capital USA, Cairo Office where he managed local Equity Funds and Securities on-behalf of regional clients, before joining CIB‘s Corporate Banking Group as a Deputy General Manager where he built a highly successful portfolio of corporate clients. Mr. Hossam was the Head Representative for CIB in the Gulf Region based in Dubai - a senior Director level position.

Mr. Hossam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University. He is both a certified Credit Analyst and a Certified Asset Manager and has done an intensive training in Trade Finance in Cambridge University UK.

Sherif Salama

Mr. Sherif has been in the banking sector since 2003, with extensive work experience in Risk Management. During his career path, he assumed different functions in risk management areas including Credit Administration, Credit Exposure Management, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Non-performing Risk Management.

Before joining Mayfair-CIB, he was heading the team of non-performing risk Management in CIB, he was a member in different credit committees and a member in the bank’s enterprise risk Management team. He is a certified financial trainer in Credit and Risk management programs, an instructor in the Executive Education of the American University (AUC) and ESLSCA-Paris University in Cairo as well as one of the CIB- Egypt trainer’s in the credit program.

Mr. Sherif is a holder of an Executive Master of Business Administration from Northampton-UK, Strategic diploma in management and leadership from Pearson-UK and BSC of Statistics from Cairo University-Egypt. He is also a Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) from CIB-Egypt and Certified Risk professional in the Banking Risk & Regulation from GARP-USA.

Nehreen Mohamed Hussein Sumar

Nehreen Sumar was appointed as the Chief Dealer-Treasury at the Bank in January 2018. She is a seasoned treasurer having worked in the treasury field for over 18 years, with an in-depth wealth of experience in Treasury, Banking and Financial markets. Prior to joining Mayfair CIB, she worked at Prime Bank Ltd as Chief Dealer. Prior to that she worked as a dealer at Gulf African Bank and Giro Commercial Bank.

Nehreen holds various qualifications; ACI Dealing Certification and ACCA amongst others. Over the course of her career, Nehreen has attended numerous trainings and certifications covering Banking, Financial Derivatives markets, Bonds, Treasury management, Assets and Liabilities management, among others.

Daphne Wanja Maina

Daphne is a career banker with 15 years of experience across three banks in Kenya, 11 of which have been in leadership positions. She is currently the Head of Business Development at Mayfair CIB Bank where she leads the business growth and profitability of the bank through highly engaged corporate and branch retail teams. Prior to this, she was the Head of Corporate & Commercial banking for two years, where she led the corporate banking team to achieve first-time profitability within her first year on the role. She joined Mayfair CIB Bank (formerly Mayfair Bank Limited) on 1st March 2016 as a Senior Relationship Manager Corporate banking and previously worked as a Relationship Manager in Stanbic Bank and NIC Bank (now NCBA). She additionally has experience in banking operations where she started her early career.

Daphne holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Business Management from the United States International University – Africa and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration from the same institution.

Lynette Wanjiku Kamande

Lynette Kamande's legal career spans over 13 years with 10 spent in the banking industry. Prior to her appointment as the Head of Legal in March 2018, she worked at Co-operative Bank of Kenya as a Legal Manager.

Lynette holds a Law degree from Moi University and a Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Corporate Secretary. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the International Commission of Jurists and the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS).

In the course of her career, she has gained experience in both in-house practice and private practice and has also undertaken specialized training.

Ali El-Semary

Mr. Ali has over 18 years of extensive working experience in the banking sector, including over 15 years of substantial experience in financial crime, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Prior to joining CIB Kenya Limited, he held various managerial leadership positions at the CIB compliance department, where he led various compliance projects that enhanced the bank's oversight of financial crime and compliance risk management while fostering a sound ethical-based culture.

Mr. Ali holds a BSC in Economics and Public Administration (Cairo University-Egypt) and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) (Northampton University-UK). He also holds a Strategic Diploma in Management and Leadership (Pearson-UK). His credentials also include certifications in anti-money laundering (ACAMS-USA), compliance (ATTF-Luxembourg), project evaluation and feasibility studies diploma, and capital market analysis diploma (Cairo University-Egypt).

He is an associated member of the International Compliance Association (ICA-UK). and pursuing an international diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance ("GRC").

Tamer Fouaad

Mr. Tamer has over 25 years of extensive work experience in Operations Management, shared services, assets & liabilities operations as well as transformation programs. He has served for more than 15 years at Senior Management Leadership positions, having served at CIB Bank for over 13 years. Mr. Tamer joined CIB Bank in 2009 as the Head of Operations Group and Shared Services. Prior to joining Mayfair CIB Bank, he was heading the Africa Operations and shared services function at CIB Egypt.

Mr. Tamer, holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Cairo University, a breakthrough Diploma for Senior Executives from IMD University in Switzerland. He is also certified by INSEAD (France/Singapore) for completing the Leadership Through Excellence & Awareness Program Diploma as well as the Leading in Challenging Time Program.

Hesham AbdelHay

Mr. Hesham has over 14 years of extensive work experience in Commercial International Bank. He started his career in 2006 in customer service and back office at CIB Branches. In 2008 he was appointed as an Accountant for over 3 years and later appointed as Financial and Regulatory Reporting Senior Accountant responsible for reviewing preparation of the financial statements among other financial functions.

Before joining CIB Kenya Limited, he was the Capital Management Manager where he established an on-going capital management framework and provided guidance for the bank’s optimal balance sheet mix.

Mr. Hesham is a holder of a Master of Science with Distinction in Professional Accountancy from The University of London (2020) - the program has been designed by academics at University College London’s School of Management - and an MBA from The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences. He is also a Chartered Certified Accountant, Certified Accounting Technician, holder of Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, and Diploma in International Financial Reporting. He was awarded by ACCA for attaining the highest mark as a student in Egypt in four ACCA exams. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major.

Joyce Kadenyi Lihanda

Joyce Lihanda has over 18 years of experience,12 of which are in the banking industry. She was appointed as Manager-Credit Analysis in February 2018 having previously worked in Barclays Bank of Kenya as an Assistant Corporate Credit Manager.

She started her banking career at Barclays Bank as a Risk Manager in 2008. Joyce served several managerial roles at Barclays Bank before joining Mayfair CIB (formerly Mayfair Bank).

Joyce holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Strathmore University, and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University. In addition, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Project Finance.

Robert Mwitia Murangiri

Robert Murangiri was appointed Head of Audit in March 2019. Prior to joining the Bank, he was the Head of Audit at DIB Bank Kenya Ltd, a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank (Pjsc), UAE. Previously he was the Head of Internal Audit at ABC Bank Limited, with additional responsibilities over at ABC Insurance Brokers Ltd and ABC Capital Ltd.

He has a wealth of banking experience spanning over 20 years. He started his banking career at Co-operative Bank of Kenya where he served in different departments for over 14 years with 9 of them being in the Audit Department.

Robert holds an MBA (Finance & Strategy - Double Major) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Option). He is also a Certified Public Accountant Kenya - CPA(K), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A).

He also holds several other certificates on Information Security-related training in the areas of databases, operating systems and networks, among others.

Robert is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree (Finance) in one of the leading public universities in Kenya.

Nicholas Maina Thuita

Nicholas is a seasoned banker with over 20 years of experience in all-round banking operations, Credit, and Enterprise Risk management. He was appointed Head of Risk and Compliance in January 2016, setting up and growing the department into a forward-looking, holistic unit with an integrated view of risks, covering all key risk areas, including Lending, Market, Operational, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risks and other emerging risks.

Prior to joining the bank, he was an Assistant Chief Manager, Risk Management Department at the parent bank of a Tier 1 Bank with regional operations, where he also served as the Head of Consolidated Supervision, overseeing risk management frameworks across the 3 bank subsidiaries of the banking group.

Nicholas is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and International Compliance Association, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance Major) degree from the University of Nairobi.

Joram Kiarie

A career banker, Joram has over 22 years experience in banking. He joined Mayfair CIB Bank in June 2019 as the Chief Executive Officer. Before joining the bank, he worked at KCB as the Managing Director, KCB Uganda for the last 5 years.

He also previously served as Managing Director, KCB Tanzania and Director Mortgage Business, KCB Kenya. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions in KCB since 2004 and Co-operative Bank of Kenya where he previously worked for 8 years.

Joram Kiarie holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham Business School, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Services from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB).

Ann Muthoni Karanu

Ann has over 20 years of cumulative work experience in Human Resource Management spanning across various industries, 15 of which have been in the banking sector. She joined Mayfair CIB Bank in 2015 as part of the start-up team, and to set up the Human Resources function.

Prior to that, she worked with United Bank for Africa (UBA Kenya) where she was the Country Head-Resources, a position she held for close to seven years. Prior to joining UBA, she was the Head of Human Resources Development at Chase Bank Ltd, a position she held for 4 ½ years. She also worked at Haco Tiger Brands as an Assistant Human Resources Manager and at the Teachers Service Commission Secretariat (Head Office) where she was a Senior Human Resources Officer in charge of the Eastern County.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU-Africa) and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the College of Human Resources and is a full member of the Institute of Human Resources Management. Ann is currently pursuing her Certified HR Professional (CHRP) qualifications and is a level 3 finalist. She is also pursuing a Doctorate/PHD in Strategy at USIU-Africa.
